Take a Discovery Flight in our signature aircraft with Twin City Aviation. You will co-pilot a quick flight to our very own Pilot Mountain, see the skyline of Winston-Salem, and receive an orientation to the avionics of the aircraft, all the while listening to the air traffic communication at Smith Reynolds Airport.

The Twin City Aviation team is prepared to walk you through the plan that best fits your flying needs. If you want to become a career pilot, we have experienced pilots to guide you through each level of a career pilot program. If, however, you just want to own your own and fly your own aircraft, we can guide you through the proper flight program.

Twin City is family owned and operated by two brothers who have most recently completed their CFI and CFII flight training, respectively. The Batten brothers took very different approaches to obtaining their flight certifications and, thus, have a breadth of combined experience to help you choose the program that is right for you. With a solid foundation in faith, family and business, Tyler and Tanner care about you as a person, a Twin City family member, and a pilot. They want to help guide you to your own Runway to Success.

That is why the team at Twin City is led by Chief Flight Instructor John Eller. John has over 37 years of flight experience and has been Chief Flight Instructor in Part 141 programs in the Triad area prior to joining Twin City. John’s time in flight, experience in flight instruction and student interaction is virtually unmatched in the Triad area.
